With my background as a state-licensed teacher and certified life coach with over 9 years of experience, I support each child not only academically but emotionally; rebuilding self-esteem, motivation, and a love of learning.

Since 2016, I’ve been teaching in Henry County schools, working with amazing Marvelous Minds from early elementary through upper grades. I’ve taught all core subjects, but Math has a special place in my heart! I love helping Marvelous Minds build confidence, break down tricky concepts, and discover that math can actually be fun.
Teaching is truly my passion. I believe every Marvelous Mind can thrive with the right support, encouragement, lots of love, and a little bit of patience. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where your child will feel capable, excited, and proud of their growth every step of the way! I believe that in this environment, every mind will discover that it is truly Marvelous!
Reading

Our program begins with an assessment to identify your child’s exact reading gaps (decoding, fluency, vocabulary, or comprehension), so instruction is tailored and focused.
Writing
"My child struggles to organize their thoughts and give up quickly. Writing assignments always end in tears or fights."
Ms. Mitchell guides your child from brainstorming to revision using a visual, structured process that makes writing less overwhelming along with voice and choice: Your child will write about topics they care about, which increases investment and lowers resistance.
Math
"My child is struggling! I can’t help because the way math is taught now is different from when I was in school and I'm bad at math."
Ms. Mitchell breaks concepts into bite-sized steps and celebrate every win to rebuild your child's confidence.
We also offer simple take-home guides (virtual) and private parent sessions that show you what was covered and how to reinforce it, even if you aren’t math-savvy.
Academic Coaching

Our program teaches organization, planning, and study habits through real tasks (not abstract lectures) and implements Motivation Mapping, where Ms. Mitchell identifies your child’s drivers (e.g., creativity, competition, autonomy) and tailor lessons to leverage those motivators.
